Next to Laos with the highest peak of Truong Son Range (the Annamite Cordillera) about 2,598m in height, Kontum is home to many highland minority groups, including the Bahnar, Romam and Sedang communities.

The Wooden Church is a special architecture erected in the 1913 where the priests give office in Bahnar language.
The Seminary, built in 1935, where priest are trained to take charge of the 4 provinces of the central highlands.
Konkotu village is the land of the Bahnar minority, one of the three biggest ethnicities of the province.
