Phan Thiet, capital city of Binh Thuan province, is easily accessible by road after a three-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City. Phan Thiet is considered as the second important fishery in Vietnam. Fishing, processing fish-sauce & dried sea products are traditional occupation of residents here. But for tourists, it is a bit attractive with beautiful sandy beaches, among them Mui Ne, classified as the only place with stunning sand dunes in the country.
