Quang Binh, whose capital city is Dong Hoi, is 491km
from Hanoi in the North and 166km from Hue in the South with easy
traffic. This province is famous for its coasts dotted with white sandy
beaches and the famous cavern, Phong Nha, composed of 14 tunnels created
by the underground river by dissolving the limestone mountain Ke Bang.

Phong Nha Cavern, 50km northwest of Dong Hoi, is 7,729m
in length, composed of 14 tunnels created by the underground river by
dissolving the limestone mountain Ke Bang. It is divided into two parts:
the Dry Cave & the Wet Cave. A few years ago, a group of explorers from
the Geographical and geological faculty of the Geographical Association
of the UK Royalty, together with the Geographical and geological faculty
of the Natural Science University of Ha Noi have examined and recognized
the 7 supremacies of Phong Nha Cavern:

- The most beautiful sandy strip
- The most beautiful underground pool
- The most splendid and miraculous stalagmites
- The longest underground river
